Brandon Welch is the Business Development Manager for GROW NELA, a dynamic professional and Certified Neighborhood Developer (CND) known for his leadership in retail grocery management, business development, and economic growth. As the 2024 Chairman of the West Monroe-West Ouachita (WMWO) Chamber of Commerce, Brandon brings over a decade of experience in driving innovation and collaboration across multiple industries. He studied Business Administration and Management from the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM), along with a Certification in Sustainable Neighborhood Development from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge. Additionally, Brandon has earned multiple leadership credentials within the retail grocery sector.
In 2020, Brandon founded Welchinc Development LLC, followed by VALET by Welchinc. Development in 2024. Welchinc Development focuses on general construction, company development, and retail grocery consulting, while Valet by Welchinc. offers trash services and property management solutions to both residential and commercial clients. Under his leadership, Welchinc Development has expanded across Northeast Louisiana, with his consulting work gaining national recognition for helping businesses improve operational efficiency, implement innovative strategies, and foster growth.
In 2022, Brandon was named one of three national finalists in the world for the prestigious FMI The Food Industry Association in the 200+ store category. This recognized Brandon for his outstanding contributions to the retail grocery industry, including his leadership of one of Northeast Louisiana’s top-performing stores.
Brandon’s commitment to his community extends beyond business. He serves as Chairman of the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, representing over 900 businesses. He has championed initiatives in community outreach, economic development, and networking, fostering inclusivity and collaboration through team-building events. He also holds board director positions with the Louisiana Delta Community Foundation, The Living Well Foundation, and The Monroe Housing Authority, and has served on the boards of the Rayville Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, and United Way.
In 2023, Brandon was named one of Northeast Louisiana’s “Top 20 Under 40” business professionals, recognizing his dedication to both business and community development. A visionary leader, Brandon continues to drive sustainable practices and innovative solutions that create lasting impact in both business and the community.
