Michelle Boothe

Project Coordinator

Michelle Boothe is a seasoned economic development consultant joining Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance in July of 2002.  Originally serving thirteen parishes in northeast Louisiana Ms. Boothe worked in developing and implementing economic and community development programs partnering with Louisiana Economic Development and a network of leaders and partner organizations throughout the region supporting economic growth for over 20 years.  A driven economic development professional and bookkeeper with a strong understanding of regional economic trends, skilled in strategies to attract new businesses and support existing business.   Assisting in business recruitment, retention and growth of local economic drivers that lead northeast Louisiana.  She works toward building a better economic future for northeast Louisiana in collaborating with local governments, businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions to achieve shared economic goals.

Prior to joining Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, Ms. Boothe was the Store Manager for Sears Roebuck & Company Service Center in Anchorage, Alaska as well as the parts center in Kodiak and Wasilla, Alaska for ten years.  She led a team providing service to the entire state of Alaska for parts, sales and service where she excelled in customer service and sales.  A leader in business operations with increasing levels of responsibility with the management and development of people for corporate functions.

Michelle is an advocate for animal rescue and has 15 years of experience in animal rescue.  She serves as a Director on the Board for Cenla Alliance for Animals.  As a passion for helping animals in need, she fosters and is the lead adoption coordinator for CAFA.  She coordinates adoption events in Rhode Island and animal adoptions throughout eight states in New England for animals rescued in Louisiana.
